Or you can register and donate on the day with our friendly volunteers.

We are ending as we began in 2002 with just the sponsored walk. There will be NO festival or church service. There will be food vendors, balancing skills workshop, DJ and pony rides at the start/finish.

The Longhorn pub, on the 3 mile route, will have an outdoor mobile stage with live bands including Leighswood Ukulele Group, from Noon until 2.30pm

Registration for walkers will be inside the Outdoor Activity Centre on Aldridge Airfield and this will be the start and finish point too. Registration open as at 11.30am.

All walkers receive a medal and certificate.

Choice of 3 mile or 1 mile walk - use the Map tab for route details. Please note under 16 year olds need to be accompanied by an adult as the route involves crossing of public roads.

The one mile route is around Hay Head wood and unlike the 3 mile walk does not involve any steps or stiles or crossing of public roads.

Friendly dogs on leads are welcome with responsible owners.

The charity has kept Rosie's memory alive for 15 years and has far exceeded all our expectations and in doing so has helped many local children and young people's voluntary groups and organisations and hospitals.

Next year will be a poignant year for us as it will be 16 years since we lost Rosie and as such we feel that 2017 will be the right time to bring the charity to a close.

We have set the target to raise as £15,,000 as this is the 15th year of fundraising and this will go on to help many small voluntary groups working with children and young people in the Walsall and surrounding areas. The funding helps with toys, books, games, computers, musical instruments and lots more. We have already pledged to support Aldridge Air Cadets, Dreams In Action Performance Company, children's ward at Walsall Manor hospital, and are happy to consider more nominations.

Thank you so much for your wonderful support.

About Rosie's Walk
Rosie Ross was fatally stabbed in 2001 aged 16 years. This was a random attack, by a stranger, that took place during a Saturday afternoon shopping trip with a friend in Birmingham. Rosie's Walk is the largest fundraising event organised by Rosie's Helping Hands, the charity set up by Rosie's parents following the tragedy.

"This event is dedicated to our daughter Rosie, so it's very special to us. As such we take great care and much planning to ensure visitors have an enjoyable experience - whatever the weather! For more than 10 years the proceeds from this event has helped to change many local children and young people's lives, especially youngsters experiencing difficulty and disadvantage. We would be delighted and very honoured if you and your family would join and share this day with us." Karen and Sean Ross
