Rosie’s Legacy Continues to Give
We are delighted with the new butterfly picnic table and stools that Rosie’s Helping Hands donated to children who visit Aldridge Croft children’s play area. It is a delight to see children using it every time we go past the play area.
Although fundraising has now finished, the Trustees are continuing to make grants to help local children and youth organisations, these include:-
Aldridge School Music department with a bursary towards the cost of new instruments to enable more children to learn to play.
Rage Arts in Wolverhampton – to enable them to take their theatre productions into local schools
Aldridge 425 Air Cadets to help with cadet activities and equipment
The Benefit Gig held in memory of Ben Sambrook to pay for hire of professional PA system enabling young people to perform at the gig
St Thomas Family Guidance with a bursary to help children and young people in need of assistance with travel costs to places of education.
Woodlands Adventure in Aldridge to help with children’s safety equipment when using the zip wire and high rope courses.
Avenues Community Association in Brownhills – help to buy equipment for their Dreams in Action music project and sports equipment for their new project Dreams in Action Sport.
These donations are only possible due to the tremendous support Rosie’s Helping Hands has received. The Trustees and all the projects helped wish to thank you most sincerely. Rosie’s legacy lives on in all these projects.
