Projects Given a Helping Hand
As we come to the end of 2016 we look back at some of the projects Rosie’s charity has helped over the past 12 months. Thank you to everyone who has supported Rosie’s Helping Hands to make these grants and donations possible. Karen & Sean Ross.
Aldridge Scouts – for their help with Rosie’s Walk
Aldridge Manor Youth Club – hire of temporary venue
Aldridge Youth Theatre – bursary for young people wishing to take up Drama classes.
Clayhanger Community Centre – youth and children’s club
The Thomas Project Aldridge– bursary to help children and young people in need.
Square Peg – Stay and Play sessions for disabled children and their siblings (Mere Green)
Aldridge School – Enterprise Day with local primary schools
The Avenues Community Centre, Brownhills – Dreams in Action music project for keyboards and headphones.
Walsall Manor Hospital children’s ward – toys and art/craft materials
Aldridge Outdoor Activities Centre- Projector to enable children and young people with special needs to play computer games. Also a Pool Table is on order for the children and young people’s groups that use the facility.
We look forward to continuing to help local children and young people’s projects during 2017.
