Businesses making a difference in the local community
Barhale Construction Walsall

Rosie’s Helping Hands is a registered charity (Charity Registration Number 1097278) dedicated to improving the lives of local children from birth to young adults up to the age of 25 years.

Donations enable us to support various voluntary groups or charitable organisations to deliver valuable and vital services to the local community.

The Trustees firmly believe that communities are enriched, sustained and strengthened through individuals, businesses, schools and organisations working together to bring about lasting and positive change to people living and working in the local community.

Since 2001 to date over £350k has been raised helping many local children and young people. Groups or organisations that operate within a 15 mile radius of Aldridge can apply for grants to help with their work through an application form. Trustees consider these twice a year for grants over £800. Smaller grants are applied for in the same way but administered throughout the year.

The Grants page has more information about some of the causes we support.

Rosie’s Helping Hands provides the opportunity for donors to make a significant contribution to the local community whether the donation is £5 or £5,000. Some of the fantastic and generous support we receive comes from businesses in Aldridge and surrounding areas.

If your business would like to support Rosie’s Helping Hands and make a difference to children and young people in the local area of Walsall here are some suggestions in ways you can support:

Nominate Rosie’s Helping Hands as charity of the Year so employees can become actively involved with fundraising. A great way to start this is through asking staff and colleagues to enter a team for Rosie’s Walk & Festival or become volunteers.

Nominate Rosie’s Helping Hands for Community Matters Scheme, like those operated by Waitrose, ASDA,, John Lewis and West Brom Building Society.

Donation of goods or services in particular stationery, postage, office equipment, venue and equipment hire.
