| Would
you like to support us? Here are a few ways in which you can:
Become
a volunteer
Volunteers are always welcome especially for our largest
fundraiser
Rosie’s Walk and Festival. We welcome people
of all ages from 14 years upwards and operate an Equal Opportunities
Policy.
Aldridge Air Training Cadets (425 ATC) volunteer each year
to help with marshalling of the walk and operate Control
Radio Base – a vital and important role to ensure
the safety of our visitors.
Guide, Scout and Army Cadet groups have all been volunteers,
helping
to make the day run smoothly.
Local people have also volunteered their time to help with
marshalling, registration, selling of merchandise, providing
activities for children.
Other volunteers help with transport,
loan of equipment, preparing,
clearing and decoration of
the site.
We also need volunteers to help distribute leaflets and
posters advertising the walk either around the local area
or through shops and businesses. Again 425 ATC undertake
delivering of leaflets to homes a week or two before the
event. If you work or know of places that would
be willing
to display posters and leaflets please contact
us so we
can arrange delivery.
If you would like to volunteer, or are a leader of a community
group which would like to volunteer please contact us for
further information. We guarantee you will have a great
time.

Share
your knowledge or resources
Sometimes it’s not just money local groups need, they
need to know of people or other organisations that can help
them, by providing a network, service or facility. If you
have a service, facility or an idea which you think may
be of interest to others we would love to hear from you.
