Walsall were the first Council in the UK to install Amberwatch units.
Amberwatch is a community ‘inform and warn’ system, which is financed entirely from the revenue generated by advertising. It is controlled by the Council and can be used to send any type of message from local community event information through to missing person or other emergency alerts. The information can be sent within a few minutes of any alert being raised, making it one of the fastest methods of passing vital local information right into the heart of the community.
